Welder Fabricator

Smart Workforce Solutions are recruiting a Mig Welder/ Fabricator on behalf of our client in Hull; a leading manufacturer of high-quality Modular Builds.

 A bit about the role:

You will be an integral part of the team as a Welder/ Fabricator, a MIG welder’s responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, selecting appropriate tools and metals, measuring, and assembling metal pieces, using cutting tools, determining gas ratios, drilling holes, and monitoring inventory. You should be able to observe health and safety regulations at all times and report any issues to the line manager.

Location: Hull based

Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 7am -4pm –and 6am until 2pm on a Friday

Pay: from £13.50 per hour DOE

Duties & Requirements:

• Must be able to read from technical drawings.
• Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining appropriate metals to specifications.
  
• Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage.
  
• Interpreting specifications and blueprints accurately.
  
• Comfortable using hand power tools.
  
• You must take pride in your work and aim to produce the highest quality product.
  
• Excellent communication skills.
  
• Good attention to detail is a must!
  
• Candidates must be able to provide a positive reference to be considered for the role.
